What are the types of rubber materials?

Rubber materials are rich in variety, and mainly divided into two categories: natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Synthetic rubber is made by artificial synthesis methods and has various types, including styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), butadiene rubber (BR), isoprene rubber (IR), chloroprene rubber (CR), nitrile rubber (NBR), ethylene-propylene rubber (EPDM), butyl rubber (IIR), etc. Each synthetic rubber has its unique properties and uses, such as styrene-butadiene rubber having wear resistance, butadiene rubber having cold resistance, chloroprene rubber having good weather resistance, and nitrile rubber having outstanding oil resistance. These rubber materials are widely used in the manufacture of rubber products such as tires, hoses, tapes, wires, and cables.
